Regarding the amount of energy required for material processing, oscillation from a YVO4laser is inferior to a YAG laser. However, the high-output energy amount is notably more stable thanYAG lasers. This enables welding at high looping frequency (pulses per second), which means high-speed welding with reduced heat effects is possible so long as the energy satisfies the material’s processing threshold.
